There is a huge array of resin floor finishes out there, variously based on epoxy, pu., mma or other types of resin and ranging in thickness from a few microns to 9mm or more. Each industrial flooring product has its own features and many are used in primarily in specific industries or have certain special properties.
It is a fact however that for all the choice on offer, the vast majority of industrial flooring requirements are met by just one single generic product, which often accounts for well over half of all the applications undertaken by most industrial flooring contractors – High-build Epoxy Resin floor coatings. Tough, chemically-resistant and versatile!
In most cases, a primer coat is not required, with two coats, each applied at 200-250 microns, being the typical specification. An optional anti-slip scatter can be applied between coats and the same coating can be used for ailse, lines and safety signs. High-build epoxy coatings are resistant to general automotive fuels and lubricants and are fully water-proof.
